Sir Michael Lyons – Chair
Sir Michael became Chair of Sage Partnerships in September 2018. A leading figure in housing and local government, he chaired the well-regarded Lyons Housing Commission in 2014 to advise on how future governments might bring about a sustainable increase in house building in England.
He is also Chairman of the English Cities Fund, which undertakes large scale urban regeneration schemes. Prior to this, following a long and distinguished career in local government, Sir Michael completed a four-year term as Chairman of the BBC and has held a range of non-executive positions across the three sectors.
Craig has over 18 years’ experience of working within the housing development sector. His experience includes working for several large housing associations as well as an Affordable Housing consultancy and a Local Authority development company.
With a background in architecture, Craig has a genuine commitment to creating homes that are well designed and achieving quality design through a careful consideration of what adds value to the person living in the home, and what contribution the scheme makes to the public realm.
Colin Ross joined Sage from public sector land promotion company, Cornerstone Assets where he was a director. Prior to that he worked on regeneration and development advisory with US consultancy, Navigant, and led the regeneration function at London Borough of Barnet.
Colin is qualified as an architect and development surveyor and is helping develop Sage Partnerships with a specific focus on Local Authority Partnerships.
