Project Assistant – Delivery Team (North & Midlands)

About the role

We’re recruiting for a Project Assistant to join the Delivery Team. The Delivery Team provide the link between the acquisitions team and the operations team and our main objective is to ensure we receive a smooth handover of high quality rented and shared ownership homes.

As Project Assistant, you will work closely with and in support of a wider team of Project Managers. You will be involved in all aspects of Project Delivery and provide vital support to a busy team. The role will be home-based but will require travel to sites across the Midlands and North of England as required.

Key duties include

  • Management & maintenance of key documentation and project files using the in-house database systems Qube, QL, Sharepoint & OneDrive.
  • Collating and distributing property information.
  • Assisting Project Managers with collating information to complete the Sage Handover Spreadsheets for each project.
  • Co-ordination of the end of defect inspections for each allocated PM. Liaise with the Employers Agent on each project to ascertain availability in order to issue letters to residents to confirm appointments.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Assist PM’s with obtaining handover documentation as and when required.
  • Arranging buildings insurance for properties on the day of handover based on a 3 month valuation and quotation generator. 
  • Assist PM’s on site as and when required.
  • Assist the team where necessary with general admin tasks.
